In short

This site uses no cookies: no technical, statistics, profiling or advertising cookies. When you open it, it contacts no third-party services: pages, images and fonts all come from the site itself. That is why there is no banner and we do not ask for your consent.

Why we do not ask for your consent

The law requires consent for cookies and for other tools that read or store information on your device, except those strictly necessary to provide the service you asked for (Article 122 of the Italian data protection code, Codice privacy; guidelines of the Italian data protection authority of 10 June 2021). The site uses two technical tools of that kind, described below, and no other. We use no statistics tools, not even cookieless ones.

What stays on your device

Two pieces of information, in the storage of your browser tab (sessionStorage): the entry “ct-chat-vista”, which remembers that you have already opened the house chat, so that the unread-message counter does not come back; and, only if you tap “Choose” on the menu, the entry “ct-scelte”, with the portions you chose, so you find them again on the “Your choices” page . They do only this, contain no data about you, never leave your browser and disappear when you close the tab. We do not save your language or any other preference: the language is in the page address.

Links to other sites

On the pages you will find links that take you off the site: “Open in Google Maps” and “Open in Apple Maps” to find your way to the Corte, the profile on Valli del Noce, the reviews on Tripadvisor and Google , the WhatsApp button and the NosLab signature. Until you tap them, nothing is loaded from those services, not even a preview; the site embeds no maps and no videos. After the click you are on their site, and their rules on cookies and data apply.

How we check

The site tells the browser not to load anything from other sites (Content Security Policy), and every time the site is published an automatic check stops any page that contains external resources. If one day we added a tool that requires consent, this page would change and the banner would appear.

How to manage it

To delete the chat entry, just close the tab, or use your browser’s settings for site data. For questions write to info@cortedeitoldi.it; everything else is in the privacy policy.
